General Power Descriptions

FleshCage
Threshold: 15
Focus Time: Half Action
Sustained: Yes
Range: 24m

Line of sight is not needed for this power. Victims may roll a Challenging Agility test to avoid the effects. A target caught in the effect suffers 1d10R + WB of psyker to the body and are considered stunned, held while the power is sustained. They may attempt to break free of the effect at a very hard -30 strength test each round.

The psyker utters a blasphemous incantation and the ground before him bursts open, whipping tendrils of sinew and muscle flailing towards his foe. Those too shocked to
react quickly find themselves enveloped in sticky, fibrous flesh, constricting and squirming as the ectoplasmic pseudopods attempt to crush the life out of the Magus’s
victim.

Brainflayer
Threshold: 15
Focus Time: Half Action
Sustained: No
Range: 24m

Line of sight is required. The victim of this effect may attempt difficult (-10) willpower roll to resist the effects. Otherwise the victim takes 1d5 wounds regardless of toughness and armor and is stunned for one round.

The psyker shudders violently as he disgorges a part of his vile essence into the atmosphere, the evil wraithform howling towards its prey before violently attacking the mind of its
victim. Those unable to shake off the phantasm find themselves wracked with pain as their brain lapses into a cataleptic siezure.

Daemonic Shield
Threshold: 15
Focus Time: Full Action
Sustained: Yes
Range: Self

Victims witnessing the shield must make a difficult willpower roll (-10) or be unable to attack, while cowering from the magos casting. Victims cannot attack this magos unless they pass the difficult willpower roll (-10) each round.

The character channels the Immaterium through his body, a sea of lost souls writhing around him in a dance of contorted agony. Only the strongest willed can look upon the
Magus whilst this ethereal shield remains in place, and although it will not turn aside a bolt, such a horrific sight can easily turn aside the wielder of the gun.

Eyes of Chaos
Threshold: 10
Focus Time: Half Action
Sustained: Yes
Range: Self

This allows the magos to reroll any die once. The magos must accept the second die whatever is rolled.

The Magus closes all his senses, reaching out with his mind to ascertain the immediate future. It is said that the most gifted of sorcerers are able to see into the minds of
their foes, and react to their actions before they have even come to pass.

Hatestorm
Threshold: 18
Focus Time: Full Action
Sustained: Yes
Range: 10m Radius

All allies in the radius of the incantation gain the frenzy and Furious Assault talents.

The Magus calls upon his dark gods to gift him with a portion of their own hatred, and becomes the focus of a crackling nimbus of dark light. Anyone caught within the radius
of this actinic explosion finds himself infused with a psychotic hatred of all living things, hurling himself into combat at the first opportunity.

Quicksilver
Threshold: 20
Focus Time: Half Action
Sustained: No
Range: Self

This lasts for 1 round. It triples the magos movement speed. In addition the magos usage of combat actions doubles…4 half action or 2 full action for the round. At the end of the round the magos must test vs toughness at -10 or take 1 fatigue point. If the magos collapses from fatigue from the use of this spell he gains 1 corruption point as well.

The Magus imbues himself with the raw power of Chaos, his movements speeding up as more and more warp energy becomes infused within his muscles and sinews. If used
often enough, the Magus can transcend time to a small degree, his movements blurring next to those of his mundane counterparts.

Lashblade
Threshold: 12
Focus Time: Half Action
Sustained: Yes
Range: Self

The magos takes 2 wounds to the preferred arm when using this power. If successful he counts as being armed with a sword (1d10 + WB R) this blade has the properties of: Flexible, Tearing, and Vampyre ( Each successful damaging hit, heals 1 Wound of the user).

The Magus cuts deep along his knuckles and a whipping blade of shimmering blood springs forth. Anyone hit by the lashblade finds his vital essence drained, repeated blows leaving
nothing but a desiccated corpse in the Magus’s wake.

Warp Walk
Threshold: 20
Focus Time: Half Action
Sustained: No
Range: Line of Sight

The magos teleports through the warp to a location desired. If 98-99 rolled a Psychic mishap occurs from the 2nd table in the DH Mishap section.

Drawing ancient symbols in the air and whispering in an arcane tongue taught to him by the daemons he serves, the Magus opens a gate in reality that allows him to step through
and emerge at a given point, often behind his foes…

Etheric Leach
Threshold: 18
Focus Time: Half Action
Sustained: Yes
Range: Line of Sight 12m

The magos causes the target to lose 1d10 Willpower each round while the spell is in effect. The victim may resist the effects by resisting difficult (-10) willpower roll each turn. If a victim is reduced to 0 willpower they are rendered inert and immobile while they recover their willpower.

The Magus summons a thirsting leechdaemon from the Warp, setting it up on his foe. Its victim feels nothing of its presence at first, but soon feels his will sapping away.
This continues until he is nothing but a dribbling imbecile, his mind in tatters, at which point the leech returns, bloated, to the Warp.

Curse of Charybdis
Threshold: 16
Focus Time: Half Action
Sustained: Yes
Range: Line of Sight 24m

Victim must test against willpower at (-10) or otherwise move at full speed towards the magos casting this spell. This does not count as a charge and the magos gets the first attack on the victim with +20 to WS if the victim enters melee range.

Breathing in a great lungful of air as he mouths the heretic words of the curse, the Magus becomes the centre of an invisible vortex of power that draws his enemies closer,
dragging their resisting bodies toward him. Those affected by this power find flight impossible, and are ultimately drawn into the vile clutches of their enemy.

Slaneesh Power Descriptions

Gift of Agony
Threshold: 15
Focus Time: Full Action
Sustained: No
Range: 25m, Hearing

All characters who hear the words of this curse must make a very hard willpower test (-30) or suffer 1d10 wounds (irregardless of toughness or armor). This power causes the magos casting it 1 fatigue point.

The Magus utters one of the ancient words of pain, and all within earshot are wracked with agonising spasms, their nervous systems erupting into an inferno of insufferable
torture.

The Torturer's Touch
Threshold: 10
Focus Time: Half Action
Sustained: Yes
Range: Self

All of the magos unarmed attacks cause 1d10 + SB damage and stun any target damaged for one round.

The Magus channels the dark energies of Slaanesh into his body, imbuing his touch with the capacity to inflict incredible levels of pleasure or pain. The slightest brush of his
fingertips can cause his victims to go into paroxysms of sensation.

Dark Bliss
Threshold: 20
Focus Time: Half Action
Sustained: Yes
Range: Self

The magos adds +1d5 + TB to his base wounds stats for the duration of the sustained spell. In addition he adds +10 to Strength and Toughness.

Hissing one of the syllables of his master’s true name, the Magus enters a state of ecstatic sensation where any slight discomforts his opponent can inflict are as the lightest
pinpricks to a raging god

Ophidian Maw
Threshold: 8
Focus Time: Half Action
Sustained: No
Range: Melee

If the magos hits a victim in melee who is stunned or immobile the magos drains 1d10 willpower points and 1d10 wounds from the target irregardless of armor and toughness.

The Magus’s jaws can be distended to an incredible extent, striking with snakelike speed and clasping onto his victim, sucking all emotion and vigour out of them until they
are nothing more than a mindless shell.

Phantasm
Threshold: 15
Focus Time: Half Action
Sustained: Yes
Range: LOS - 40m

The victim is allowed a difficult willpower roll to resist (-10). If the victim fails the magos may pick a direction or activity and the victim must head to that point or continue that activity until such time as a successfull difficult willpower roll is made or the magos ends the spell.

Drawing obscene symbols in the air in front of him, the Magus opens a gateway into his foe’s mind, the hopes, dreams and secrets of his enemy laid bare for him to use and abuse
as he wishes. The most common use of this power is for the Magus to manifest the heart’s desire of his foeman, as few can stand fast when their ultimate dream is flaunted in
front of them like a cheap trinket.

Hellshriek
Threshold: 12
Focus Time: Half Action
Sustained: No
Range: 40m

All enemies within the range of the spell are stunned for 1 round and will fail all hearing based perception rolls for 1 hour. Psykers within the range take 1d10 damage irregardless of armor or toughness and are at -5 on all threshold checks for 1d10 minutes.

The Magus emits a scream of such piercing intensity it temporarily stuns and deafens his Why am I a fool? It is you who worships a corpse, at least I have awakened to the fact that the dark gods and Him are one and the same. Psykers feel the sound boring into their souls with hideous intensity, their pain a beacon to malevolent daemons of the Warp.

Primal Horror
Threshold: 12
Focus Time: Half Action
Sustained: Yes
Range: LOS

All victims attempting to charge or enter melee range with the magos must pass a difficult (-10) willpower roll or flee directly away from the magos.

Allowing the vibrant and perverse energies of Slaanesh to flow through him, the Magus projects a shimmering, dancing curtain of howling, fleshy nightmares into the
subconscious of any that dare look upon him. Those who seek to harm him first have to overcome a roiling, hissing phantasmagoria of their worst fears.

Symphony of Pain
Threshold: 20
Focus Time: Half Action
Sustained: No
Range: 15m, LOS

This power can not be sustained and must be re-cast each turn it is used. Any victims within range of this power must test versus willpower at (-30) or become overwhelmed with agony for the round. All stats are at -30 for the round.

The Magus throws his arms apart, conducting a chorus of daemonettes that cavort and howl around his reflection within the Immaterium. Their siren call picks at the
fabric of his opponents’ minds, causing blinding sheets of pain to eclipse any conscious thought.

Fleshy Curse
Threshold: 40
Focus Time: Full Action
Sustained: Yes
Range: Self

When striking an enemy in unarmed combat and damage is taken the victim must save vs. toughness or fall under the effects of this curse: If failed each subsequent turn the target will begin to degenerate into a chaos spawn. Lose 1d10 points from each stat. If any one stat reaches 0 the target has devolved into a gibbering chaos spawn.

Among the most feared of all psychic powers, this enables the Magus to channel the raw power of Slaanesh into his enemy, allowing his dark patron to shape the flesh of the
victim in any way he pleases. Most victims of this power find themselves undergoing a painful transmutation into a mewling Chaos Spawn, their flesh forever splitting, bulging
and running whilst the mind within slowly descends the spiral of madness.

Mastery of the Soul
Threshold: 30
Focus Time: Half Action
Sustained: No
Range: LOS.

The victim must pass a contested willpower test. If failed the target must act in accordance with his evil and destructive side for the next turn. The Game master controls the character - this effect should be truly terrible.

The whispered words of Slaanesh emanating from the Chaos Magus’s lips call forth the darkness from the souls of his enemies, giving these destructive and hateful emotions full
rein whilst this power is in effect.

Nurgle's Power Descriptions

Effluent Form
Threshold: 10
Focus Time: Half Action
Sustained: Yes
Range: Self

While in effect the magos halves his strength and weapon skill but takes 1/2 of all damage that bypasses his armor and toughness. Each time he is hit in close combat the opponent is spattered with hissing disease riddled effluent and must make a hard willpower roll (-10) or suffer a -20 to his WS.

The Magus transmutes his raw substance into purest filth, his outward appearance discolouring and blotching until it resembles nothing more than a statue shaped from poxriddled
slurry. Any blow directed against him spatters his opponent with flecks of vile, diseased faecal matter.

Putrid Torrent
Threshold: 12
Focus Time: Half Action
Sustained: No
Range: 10m

The magus ejects a putrid torrent similar to a flamer. It hits 1d5 multiple locations for 1d5 wounds each irregardless of toughness. Individuals hit must save vs difficult willpower (-10) or flee from range of the putrid torrent.

Inhaling through phlegm-riddled lungs until his bloated form is distended beyond all reason, the Magus disgorges a writhing stream of maggots, burning pus and hissing bile at his foes. Few can stand before this repulsive and degrading onslaught.
